I stay at the Iroquois multiple times a year, and the service is always impeccable. From the front desk, to the housekeeping team, to the hospitality and dining team. It's polished. It's professional. It's customer focused. I tell my colleagues to stay at the Iroquois. A quick shout-out to Kyle at the Lantern Keep. You do great work. Personable, professional, and a terrific addition to the team. I won't stay anywhere else in midtown.
My family and I stayed here a few weeks ago and had a wonderful time. Anthony checked us in, and he was extremely polite and helpful. All of the staff members we encountered were wonderful. The entire time we stayed, our room was kept clean, and the staff members were very kind and attentive. They even helped us hail a taxi on the way back to the airport when our original ride fell through. It was my first trip to NYC, and they played a huge part in the incredible experience I had whilst visiting. I absolutely recommend staying here if you get the opportunity.
Very good location in Midtown. Short walk to Times Square, Broadway, 5th Ave, Rockefeller center. Front desk is welcoming and friendly. Our request for a quiet room was granted. We were able to pick up bottles of drinking water from them anytime. The Iroquois is in a 90 year old building, so it exudes a feel from that era. Some section of our room wooden floor creaks but we found it fun. Bathroom feels cold as there was a large old window that may not be well insulated. Breakfast was included and taken at the beautiful Italian restaurant in the hotel itself. There are only 5 ala carte choices which gets tired after a long stay. However, the breakfast crew was incredible, all of them! We love their human touch and small chats. We like to particularly thank Nexhat for his great service.
Both myself and my family have stayed at the Iroquois many many times over the past 12 years. Some stays have been weeks, others days. But coming back to the Iroquois always feels like coming home. I can attest to their consistent strive for professionalism, friendliness, cleanliness and service to make sure you have everything you need. First off; Location: It's midtown which means there's a lot of traffic, but 44th between 5th and 6th is a little quiet oasis comparatively to the other surrounding streets. But you get all the convenience of being wedged between Grand Central and Times Square (great for subway travel). Finishes and feel: They've worked for years to renovate the hotel floor-by-floor and it's really paid off. The bathroom finishes and rooms feel elegant, modern and comfortable without feeling like every other hotel you've stayed in. Walk to the back of the lobby for some of the best cocktails you'll have in the city in The Lanterns Keep before you venture out on the town. Thanks to the team at the Iroquois for remaining one of the best hotels in the city.
Most of my stay here was enjoyable. My only complaint was the Air Conditioning in my room. I reported it to the front desk multiple times. They did send someone up twice and due to the lower temperatures at the time of my visit, the room was mostly comfortable. Unfortunately, the Air Conditioning stopped working overnight both times it was fixed. The manager did waive service fees when I checked out. It was centrally located to Times Square and the Theatre District. My room was clean and the bed comfortable. I would say here again despite the issues with Air Conditioning.
