I had a wonderful experience this past week at this hotel. The front desk service was above and beyond, they were so accomodating with last minute requests and luggage storage. You can't beat the location! Only four stars due to slight aesthetic issues in the room (paint drippings, paint chippings) but no other room issues.
Great stay at the Hotel on Rivington. Cute lobby area for hanging out. Friendly, service-oriented staff. I was happy to enjoy a room with all-new furniture, mattress, etc., and the Japanese soaking tub was wonderful after a full day of walking in NYC. I will definitely stay here again. Great bang for the buck!
The location of this hotel pulls a lot of the weight on why I'm giving this 4 stars. So much is nearby, I barely had to get on the train or uber anywhere on this trip. The lobby is well designed and aesthetically pleasing. The bar was unfortunately under construction during my stay which was disappointing as a Hilton diamond member, since I didn't get to use my daily credit for anything but to make up for it they had a complimentary wine hour from 5-7 but that was available to all guests. However, the new bar is looking great. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful. I stayed in the Atelier King Room on the 19th floor and the best part about it was definitely the floor to ceiling windows and unobstructed view. The Atelier King room had a huge Japanese soaking tub which was lovely. I used it everyday! The shower was also very large and had also had a stunning view from it. The room appeared clean overall but did not exactly have a fresh feeling but that might just be my own sensitivities. I will say that if you're staying here, getting a room with a balcony is a MUST. The Atelier king room was a standard size room really, but I recognize it might be big for NYC. The only complaint I really have is the breakfast. Terrible. No value in it. I wouldn't even call it continental breakfast. Overall, I'd stay here again only in the Atelier king as I imagine the studio king rooms are probably veryyy small in comparison.
I stay at tons of Hilton’s. My first experience here. Wonderful location, upgrade upon arrival, and brilliant service. This is like a 4.7 IMO. Pros: 1. Unreal views. 2. Lower east side location is amazing 3. Staff and service level experience Opps for Maturity: 1. Extraordinary bathtub in room….but, no soap or shampoo next to the tub. If different type of tub no instruction given lol. 2. Toilet didn’t function as expected fully BUT DID FUNCTION! 3. Digital key option unavailable. This is a known Hilton property ownership / operator item
I’ve been to NYC about 7 times now, but this trip was by far the best, solely dependent on how AMAZING this hotel was. Starting with our concierge, Dery, who was beyond welcoming and helpful for our visit. He truly elevated our experience with the hotel x10. Our room was beautiful, clean, spacious and had an amazing view of the city. I couldn’t have asked for more. The hotel also smelled incredible, super clean, & service was quick and efficient. If I come back to New York, I highly doubt I would stay anywhere besides this hotel. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
