Start to finish, our stay was exceptional. After arriving on an early morning flight, we were immediately welcomed by the wonderful staff. Chico, the front office director and all-around superstar, took incredible care of us from the moment we arrived. Our flight landed at 6 a.m., and although the city was still waking up, Chico made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We were even able to check in early, which was such a gift after a long travel day. Before New York came to life, the lovely Steven gave us a tour of the rooftop space, which is typically reserved for private events. It felt like such a special welcome to one of our favorite cities and set the tone for the entire stay. The rooms are clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with elevated amenities throughout. The robes were plush and brand new, and every detail made the room feel like a place you were excited to return to after a long day exploring the city. The hotel also surprised me with birthday treats, offers breakfast order cards the night before (with a very New York 2 a.m. cutoff), and provides twice-daily housekeeping service. We had breakfast every day, and drinks at night in the Swan Room. Everything we ordered was perfect each time. The staff there is equally wonderful. We sat at the bar and met the very kind, Luis who made us some of the best drinks I’d had in NYC. The mocktail was so delicious I had to take a photo of the bottle in the hopes of recreating it. The location is perfect—close to trains, fantastic restaurants, great bars, and anything else you might need during your stay. Our room was quiet and had blackout curtains, but the city is in full swing outside. That’s the perfect type of stay in NYC! What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the people. The level of hospitality felt genuine, personal, and effortless. We’ll be back in a hurry.
Very disappointing experience. My colleague and I stayed at this hotel for a business trip and required proper invoices for our expense reports. At check out it was told, these would be provided per Email. After multiple requests and reminders, we eventually received one invoice, but it contained errors. The second invoice has still not been provided despite repeated follow-ups.
Love this hotel. The staff is welcoming and so helpful and every space is beautiful and thoughtfully designed. The breakfast is incredible, the turndown service is such a nice touch to come back to at the end of the night, and I adored our room. We will be back!
The best hotel in the universe!! Everyone is so kind. Food and service is all so amazing. We had such an amazing and luxurious stay for our wedding weekend
