The Box House Hotel

This hotel is such an amazing, central place in Brooklyn and we have really enjoyed our stay! Ray from the guest services staff is a literal ray of sunshine and such an asset to the team. He had such a positive attitude and was incredibly helpful no matter what questions we had. Highly recommend staying here. Great hotel and amazing staff!
We had a gret experience: the hotel is nicely located, clean and stylish. The employees were super friendly, no matter what the question was and no matter what time it was. And last but not least: the reception desk is fabulous and charming - customer service at its best!👍👍 we will be back!
Not your typical 5 star review but I’m doing it bc of the service I received from Christina at the front desk. Had a nightmare scenario, booked on hotel tonight and was confirmed by them but somehow the box house hotel was sold out. Ended up having to share a room with my friend that night, they got me a trundle bed. Booked 1 night the following night directly with box house. Great sized rooms, solid breakfast and bar, awesome location. But yea, box house, promote or give Christina a bonus bc she turned a terrible scenario into an okay one with amazing hospitality and kindness.
The hotel & room were gorgeous! The staff were all super helpful, kind & funny. (They even informed us of a Saturday wedding that might be loud for a while since we were on the top floor right under the event space.) The location was perfect and the city view was immaculate. If I visit the area again, I’ll definitely be booking with The Box House!
I will start by saying the location is great, very walkable to many things. The ferry and subway are close by. Our room was on the first floor, with a loft bed room area, pullout couch and kitchen area. The walls are thin, like paper thin. Unfortunately our friend staying in the loft bed could here the neighbors. Making it hard to sleep, on top of hearing doors slam near by. We were excited to have a kitchen area with a small refrigerator and dishes/ silverware to use. There was a market one block away so we got some drinks and snacks. Along with having left overs from restaurants. But after the first night we noticed ants in the room. It did not happen at first, because all of our food was in the refrigerator. One glass left out over night from a soad was what attracted them. We took pictures and videos to show the front desk on our way out. Thankfully they were quick to get maintenance to our room. Overall the stay was okay it gave us the opportunity to see that park of Brooklyn.
