Great value for exactly what we needed as a group of 30-somethings coming in for a weekend. Trip was off to an odd start as when we checked in, the room we were given was not cleaned from the previous guests, but they had already figured out the error by the time we got back to the front desk and quickly had us in a new room. Staff was friendly and attentive. May not be the best location for more sensitive individuals, as the area is a bit rough and could be a little loud at night, but it was an easy walk to the train multiple spots for coffee, food, and groceries, so it was overall a convenient place to stay.
Great choice for a short stay in New York 🥰 it was clean and comfy, snacks were available on the ground floor. Location was ok, 40 min by metro to Manhattan, but quite creepy to go around alone as a girl past 8 pm 🤕 Overall, we all enjoyed our stay here 💘
spent 3 nights here. great location next to the subway, walkable area, rooms were nice and clean. theres also a citibike rack outside, so easy to get around. delis within easy walking distance, honestly what more could you need. perfect for me, though im not a particularly fussy person about hotels, but everything was perfect, clean, and nice. friendly service as well. plan on staying here again next time i visit nyc. me and my friend had a great stay here.
Came here for the weekend for the Brooklyn Half. After years of commuting in for the race from New Jersey I decided I wanted easier logistics. Check-in was smooth. Rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable with drawers and counter space. Bathroom was even a perfect size to get ready for the race yesterday morning and not wake the family. Shower water pressure a little low but definitely not a deal breaker for us. The room doors and stairwell door can be pretty loud but the room fan plus our own fan that we brought definitely drowned out any street or hallway noise. The hotel has a nice sitting area on the level below the lobby that has vending machine, coffee, water. Also a nice outdoor seating area around the hotel. Very close to the J train subway stop. In terms of logistics for the half marathon, it’s about 3 miles from Prospect Park so I was able to reserve an Uber for a less than 20 minute ride to runner drop off. I feel like there is no easy way back from Coney Island so the subway ride was about an hour with transfer, but that was to be expected. The neighborhood is overall pretty good. Walking distance to convenience, stores, restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.
Sharing the same review that I left at Trips.com which I used to book this hotel. :) Service was amazing! Both the check-in and checkout processes were easy. The person at check-in was particularly kind and friendly. Yes, it can be loud outside but it's also Brooklyn. I had no trouble sleeping undisturbed through the night. This is very specific but I really liked the soap/etc. pumps installed into the bathroom/shower walls. Far less wasteful than those little soaps that other hotels have. I would definitely stay again and probably will again soon!
