The room was small but clean. The beds were clean and comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The front desk gentlemen were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself wasn't noisy but the construction outside made it a little hard to sleep. The prices were reasonable for the location and it was walking distance to where we wanted to go and visit. I would book here again.
We stayed at this hotel over the Independence Day holiday and have extensive experience staying in Manhattan hotels. We’d like to highlight the excellent service. If you’re traveling with a child and arrive before check-in while your room isn’t ready, there’s a chance the hotel may offer you a different, even better room at no extra charge. The hotel was very clean throughout. The lobby and public areas were spotless, and our room was clean and well prepared. Late at night, we requested ice, and it was delivered to our room free of charge. The air conditioning worked perfectly throughout the entire property, including our room, which was especially important during the hot weather. The only small downside was that the chandelier in the room hangs a bit low, particularly for taller guests. If you get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and forget about it, you might accidentally bump your head! The staff were friendly and welcoming. The bell staff and security team were exceptionally courteous and always happy to help, including recommending great places for breakfast. The location is excellent, and the rates are very reasonable. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel. In fact, we believe the value for money is even better than the price suggests. Based on our personal experience, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a comfortable stay with outstanding service. Thank you!
My stay at the Ameritania at Times Square was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The customer service was truly top-notch, and every staff member went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and valued. My suite was beautiful, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable—the perfect place to unwind after exploring the city. The hotel’s location is another huge plus: it’s conveniently situated in the heart of Manhattan, making it easy to walk to Broadway, Times Square, and so many of New York City’s attractions. A special thank you to Rob for his outstanding hospitality. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made my stay even more memorable. He truly exemplifies what excellent hospitality should be. I highly recommend Ameritania Times Square to anyone visiting New York City and can’t wait to return for another stay!
Fantastic location within walking distance of all the sights! Majid and Janeth were wonderful and gave us a complimentary room upgrade. It was pouring when we got there and there are even umbrellas available for use in the rooms. Love the complimentary wine hour and coffee! And the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Excellent value for the money!
My friend and I absolutely loved staying at Ameritania! It is in Midtown, walking distance to the Theatre District and Hell’s Kitchen. The location made our entire trip so much more fun, it is 3 doors down from the iconic Studio 54! We really enjoyed seeing Rocky Horror Picture Show and being so close to the theatre. We even went around the block to meet the stars after the show at the stage door. It is so conveniently located to the subway, Central Park, Times Square, Ellen’s Stardust, and so much more. The hotel lobby is gorgeous, very modern and eclectic, with large red leather chairs and a fabulous bar area. It was really convenient that they have a guest bathroom on the ground floor. Our room was really clean and kept perfect temperature, a great bathroom and a fancy shower with multiple sprayers. The staircases made for some really great pictures and I felt very safe in the entire hotel and out front. The staff was super friendly and helpful, responsive and efficient. Every morning they had a complimentary coffee/tea area for guests and in the evenings they did a complimentary Happy Hour. We absolutely will stay here again!
