Looking for a quick place to eat and drink before a concert at The Beacon Theater. Found this restaurant. The staff was amazing. Food was amazing. Drinks were perfect (and strong). Prices were great for NYC. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Great spot all around. Drinks were on point, food was solid, and the ambiance tied it all together. Good energy without feeling over the top. Came with a group of four without reservations and they were still super accommodating, which I appreciated. Easy place to hang out and enjoy a night. Would come back.

The biscuits were FIRE - warm, buttery, with jalapeño butter. It’s a small portion, perfect for 2. They’re as good as you get in Atlanta. Drinks were stellar too and very friendly service. Solid way to end the day in Central Park / perfect for aperetivo hour

It is advisable to secure a reservation to avoid a potential wait time of 20-25 minutes. Due to the compact size of this cocktail bar, noise levels can escalate significantly inside, potentially becoming overwhelming for some patrons, particularly after consuming alcoholic beverages(or not). This ambiance may not be conducive to relaxed conversation, as shouting may be necessary to communicate with one's party. Furthermore, during busy periods, it is prudent to inquire about the allocated table time with the hostess. We experienced an unexpected situation where we were informed that our table was needed back in 30 minutes, despite having unfinished drinks. Providing patrons with advance notice of their table's time constraint would allow for better time management. While the beverages and food were satisfactory, individuals who value minimal wait times or prefer a more relaxed atmosphere may consider visiting at less busy hours.

The Owl Tail is such a cozy gem, just a quick and easy stroll from the 72nd Street Station (1, 2, and 3 lines). The inside is beautiful, but since the October weather was perfect, we grabbed a table outside and soaked up the vibe. The menu might be small, but it’s packed with great seasonal options and they’ve got a happy hour from 4:30 to 6:30!!! Definitely worth catching. Our servers, Emily and Cynthia, were absolute stars: super friendly, honest, and knew the menu inside out. We went with their suggestions and loved everything. The deviled egg platter (half-off during happy hour!) and the butternut squash crostini were both winners. I ordered the Owltumnal Daiquiri, and wow, it tasted like fall in a glass. The drinks all sounded tempting, so I’m already planning my next visit to try more. Clean bathrooms, good vibes, and a place I’ll definitely be back to check out indoors next time.
