I stopped into The Long Room while visiting NYC and had such a great experience. Alberto and Chris were both friendly, attentive, and made me feel welcome from the moment I sat down. They offered great recommendations, were knowledgeable about the menu, and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my visit. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and had that classic Irish pub feel. Great service, great food, and a place I'll definitely return to the next time I'm in New York. Highly recommend!
We caught a bite to eat before our show today and Cinthya was great! She got our food and drinks out with plenty of time to spare and made the experience perfect!
Had such a great time here! The cocktails were delicious, the bartenders were so nice, and the whole vibe was just fun and welcoming. You can tell they really know how to make great drinks. Definitely a spot I’d come back to for a good time and yummy cocktails!
Came here for a pre-show lunch. Of course I started with one of my favorites, expresso martini. It was perfect :) Next my husband an I shared the mushroom toast. It was really well put together. The creamy gruyere cheese offset the earthy rustic flavor of the mushrooms and the multigrain bread. I enjoyed it as a person who is not a fan of mushrooms. My husband’s main entree was fish & chips. Oh these were so crispy and light. It reminded us of the ones we had when we visited the British Isles. For myself I went with another traditional type dish, Bangers & Mash Pie. Although it was delicious, I was a little disappointed. Not in the quality of the food (excellent) but in the “pie” title. I mistakenly thought it would have been a pie crust. My Irish is showing - my mom made pie crust from mashed potatoes. What made up for it was the S’mousse Oh so sweet and creamy. The toasted marshmallow and graham cracker ratio to the chocolate mouse was so on point. Overall I highly recommend stopping in!
Decent food with excellent service and vibe. The Last Word is a decent cocktail, not the actual Last Word but their version. The pretzel was good, moist and warm and fluffy. The herbed chicken was OK, needing more seasoning and a smoother mash. The really good part of this place is the ambience. It's a pub with plenty of room and TVs in just the right sight angles. Highly recommend for sports watching and snacking.
