A great and authentic live music venue with a unique atmosphere and a long seating area that gives everyone a good view of the stage. There were two shows the night I visited—the first one was decent, but the second show at 10 PM was fantastic and really made the evening memorable. The beer selection was good, and while I didn’t try any food, I thoroughly enjoyed the overall experience. If you’re looking for a genuine live music spot with a great vibe and talented performers, this place is definitely worth a visit.
Love this spot! I’ve been coming here for years but especially love that they have a regular Wednesday night comedy show (Funhouse Comedy Show) - I like bringing friends when they’re in town because they always have people like writers from Late Night, The Daily Show, etc. trying out new material plus up-and-coming comics… but none of the hassle (or cost!) of going to a proper club. I’ve been here for other events as well and it’s always a great time!!
I love Pete’s more than I can explain. This is the best bar in New York City by far and nothing compares. GO TO FUNHOUSE COMEDY ON WEDNESDAY!!! Gabe and Sameer are amazing and so funny and the lineup is always incredible. They have been running this show for over 10 years and it has created the most amazing community that I am so happy to be apart of.
Funhouse on Wednesdays is my favorite event at Pete’s, Gabe and Sameer are the sweetest and funniest people you’ll ever meet! Thank you guys for such a memorable time
Very cozy bar, love the wooden interior. The stand-up show in the back was quite packed, but hey it was St Paddy's day, so no wonder. They also have hot toddies and grilled cheese on the menu.
