If you're looking for an in between chill/party atmosphere, this is the place. Always busy, but they always have specials and the staff is usually super nice!

Update: July 2026 This used to be a bar with cheap drinks during happy hour, but I was surprised when I had to pay $5.50 for Coors light drafts on a Thursday at 3pm during happy hour. This isn’t midtown! Bartender was friendly and wings were tasty, hence the 3 stars. But the NYCBestBar chain (which includes nearby down the hatch and 3 sheets saloon) has gotten way too expensive! ———— is one of the many dive bars in the west village area. Off the wagon belongs to the same chain as Down the Hatch and 3 Sheets which are both nearby. They all have very creative names. The offer cheap drinks and specials 7 days a week. Bartenders are friendly and during warmer days they open the main door/window for a nice breeze.

Nice place in a great location. Connor the barman very good. Friendly, welcoming and chatty. The so called stool dwelling face glued to phone ‘manager’ though. Wow. And not in a good way. Cold. Aggressive. And a bit of a Billy BS’r. No idea why he’s in the hospitality industry. He’s an embarrassment.
