Hubby wanted to go to cigar bar while we were visiting NY, the staff was top notch! We came after eating dinner and I had the apple crisp for dessert OMG! it was delicious! I'm a social smoker the cigar selection was great as host and my hubby picked one for me☺️. The hubby enjoyed himself, he was definitely in his element! The decor classic old school NY architecture with beautiful wood work, dim lighting. Nice & intimate.
We had a great time at Club Macanudo. For a high-end NYC lounge, the cigar prices are actually quite reasonable. I went with the Macanudo Inspirado Orange Gigante, which was a fantastic, smooth smoke. Just a heads up on the pricing structure: they have a $50 minimum spend per person, but $20 of that goes directly toward your cigar, which makes it easy to hit if you're there to smoke anyway. The atmosphere is top-notch, though keep in mind that the drinks can get pretty pricey, so it can add up fast if you're staying for a few rounds. Definitely a solid spot for a quality stick in a classic setting. Minimum Spend: Minimums are frequently reported, typically ranging from $30 to $50 per person for table service. Cigar Requirement: A mandatory cigar purchase (often around $20) is usually included in that minimum. Dress Code: Business casual is strictly enforced; gentlemen must wear collared shirts, and athletic attire or shorts are prohibited.
