Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites New York Brooklyn

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites New York Brooklyn. For nearly $600 for a three-night stay, I expected a much better guest experience. From the moment we arrived, there were problems. The air conditioning was not functioning in either the main lobby or the lower lobby, making the common areas extremely uncomfortable. We also experienced an excessively long wait before our room was finally ready. Once we got to the room, I discovered it did not have a microwave, despite neighboring rooms having one. When I asked about the discrepancy, my concerns were not addressed satisfactorily. What was most disappointing was the lack of customer service. I specifically requested to speak with the owner regarding these issues, but my request was refused. As a paying guest, I expected management to be willing to listen and address legitimate concerns. Overall, this stay did not reflect the standards I expect from the Fairfield Inn & Suites or the Marriott brand. I will not be returning, and I believe Marriott corporate should be aware of the poor customer service, inconsistent room amenities, and overall lack of responsiveness that I experienced at this property.
pretty great. rooftop decks with play and lounge areas. quiet place to rest after hustling and bustling in the city. short walk to 3rd ave bars and restaurants, harlem shake was soooo good. hot buffet breakfast was satisfying and pretty good - the hot oatmeal with all the fixings and spinach egg frittata were my faves. coffee, hot water, tea and microwave available all day too. ten min walk to a few train stations - would def stay again.
My sister passed away unexpectedly while we were on vacation. When we arrived at the Fairfield the next day. The entire staff was so kind. Water bottles, snacks, and checking in. Isadora who was in training so was doing such a great job and I found a great deal of comfort from her small kindnesses. I will definitely stay here again in spring when I return. Thank you for enabling your staff to have such attentiveness and kindness. I doesn’t go unnoticed. Becky
