Was immediately greeted by Franco and Carlos in the front entrance of a trendy lobby. Special thanks to Lacy, Rain, Diana, and Carolina for the ice and to Ula for the house service. Best hotel for the price. Staff is even better! Stanley kept us all safe at night. Great place to stay when you’re in New York City. Second visit update 7/20 Immediately greeted by very friendly once again. Checkin line went very fast. Room was perfectly clean thanks to Dolkar. Carlos and Chris once again help guide me thru the city. Joseph was also very helpful and helping me get ice, the hotel needs to fix the ice machines, but he got it done. As always, highly recommend this hotel for the people. If you’re coming into work or a holiday. When you come in late at night, the hotel is completely safe….witnessed someone trying to follow people in, but Stanley stopped them and immediately asked for my key as well. When late check is available or if you need to be on a work call they provide extra time. Stephen gave me quickest checkout as I was in a rush and validated my parking discount is a huge feature as well below the hotel. Get to know the people and guests would be my recommendation as well!

I was always told to never stay near Times Square because it's unbearably crowded, but during the World Cup and Pride weekend, it honestly wasn't as busy as I expected. The hotel is just off 9th Avenue, which has tons of great restaurants, shops, and entertainment. Being so close to Times Square was actually a huge plus—you can easily walk there first thing in the morning before the crowds arrive. The location is definitely this hotel's biggest selling point. That said, the location was unfortunately the highlight of our stay. Everything else fell below expectations. On our first morning, housekeeping walked into our room while we were still inside, which was pretty uncomfortable. At night, the room became uncomfortably hot, and the thermostat was locked, so we couldn't adjust the temperature. I also expected the grab-and-go station to be a convenient perk, but it closes early, making it useless if you want a late-night snack. Finally, the elevators were incredibly slow. They took so long that we genuinely started wondering if we were stuck. Also, we left by 10am and returned at 11-1am and house keeping did not come to clean our rooms on 2/3 nights. Overall, the location is fantastic, but the hotel itself didn't live up to what we were expecting.

We arrived at the hotel feeling a bit hesitant because of the Google reviews. There was indeed some visible wear and tear in places, but overall the experience was good and everything felt compact and practical. When booking, you can already see that the room is not large, but it was completely sufficient for our stay. The bathroom lacked some privacy, but as a married couple, that wasn’t an issue for us. We stayed on the top floor and the views were amazing. The electronic bed was very comfortable, and the shower was excellent. The staff were genuinely very friendly and welcoming. Despite these small shortcomings, I’m still giving a full five stars. Thank you — I would gladly come back again.

I recently stayed at YOTEL Times Square and was impressed by its futuristic, efficient concept. The room felt almost like a compact spaceship cabin. The bed folded away at the touch of a button, creating extra standing space during the day. Despite the small footprint, a narrow floor-to-ceiling window offered a beautiful view toward New Jersey. The hotel experience is highly automated. Check-in is done through self-service stations similar to those found at airports, and you can issue as many key cards as needed. One interesting aspect is the elevator system: you first take an elevator to the 4th floor and then transfer to a second set of elevators to reach the upper guest floors, such as the 19th floor. The location is extremely convenient, situated on the edge of Times Square along 10th Avenue, allowing easy access to the theater district while being slightly removed from the busiest crowds. The biggest surprise was the price. During the first week of the World Cup, when many Manhattan hotels had increased their rates to $1,200 to $1,800 per night, YOTEL was still available for around $300 per night, making it one of the best value options in the city. Overall, YOTEL offers a modern, efficient, and surprisingly enjoyable stay for travelers who appreciate innovative use of space, technology, and smart value during peak travel periods.
