New York Contrasts Tour: An immersion in the city's diversity and authenticity Our tour starts at The Manhattan at Times Square hotel, pick up point to take the 12th avenue towards Harlem where we can learn a little more about the African American influence and its rebirth, passing by the Cotton Club, 125th street or also known as Martin Luther King street, the Apollo Theater, and the Brown Stone houses that were built in the nineteenth century characterized by its elegant architecture. Leaving Harlem we arrive in the Bronx borough, the heart of urban culture and the birthplace of hip-hop. Our first stop will be at the Joker stairs where the movie of the same name was signed, we continue to the second stop which will be at Yankee Stadium where you will have time to enter the restrooms, continuing the tour you will get off at the Big Pum mural and the I Love the Bronx mural where you can appreciate a little of the day to day life of the neighborhood and compare the subway stations with Manhattan. You will pass by the Amadou Dialo and Jonathan mural with stories that shook New York City. Then we head to Queens, the most multicultural borough, passing by the Whitestone Bridge where you will see a panoramic view of Manhattan and enter the Malba neighborhood where we will meet our first contrast. At this point you will have time to enjoy a coffee and entry to the restrooms. Still in the borough of Queens we will visit Flushing Meadows Corona Park which houses the Meets Stadium, the Arthur Ashe Open Tennis Stadium, The Unisphere globe and the Queen's Museum. Passing through Fiorelo La Guardia Airport we continue to the Brooklyn borough, famous for its views and bohemian atmosphere. We enter the neighborhood of Williamsburg where the largest concentration of ultra-Orthodox Jews are located, where you can enter one of their bakeries or stores and learn a little more about their culture. We continue to DUMBO our last stop for those who decide to finish the tour there, Dumbo an iconic place where you can capture unforgettable photos of the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan skyline. Those who decide to continue will reach Chinatown and Mulberry Street where the tour ends. Throughout the tour, our local guides will tell you stories and anecdotes from each neighborhood, showing the essence of New York as a set of contrasts that together create a unique and authentic experience.Includes
