Discover the wonders of the New York Aquarium, a historic institution founded in 1896. Located on Coney Island, the aquarium is home to over 500 species of marine wildlife. Walk through a tunnel surrounded by a coral reef with sharks swimming overhead. Visit the Spineless exhibit to learn about invertebrates like Pacific octopuses, moon jellies, and zombie worms. Observe sea otters, sea lions, harbor seals, and penguins in the outdoor Sea Cliffs exhibit.
