The Baltic Hotel
New York
Reseñas
Basically a dorm room with a fan. Sink next to the bed. Toilet too small. At checkout, there was no one at the desk. Three people with suitcases stood around the “lobby” waiting for an attendant before giving up. There are other hotels at this price in Brooklyn which would be considerably better.
Great place to stay for a solo traveller. Easy to get to from JFK airport and close to trains into the city. The neighbouring area is nice. Room was stylish, provided breakfast was simple but good. The staff onsite with helpful and friendly.
The rooms are small which is fine, but there are no shelves or anywhere to put your belongings except a tiny bed side table thats directly next to the sink. The sink is outside of the bathroom and extremely small and hard to use in a corner of the room. The walls are paper thin, you can hear people talking all night long, doors slamming all night long. The bed is the hardest most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept one, I didn't even know mattresses could be this hard. There is one shelf that hangs at about eye level on the wall which makes it dangerous and virtually impossible to use.
Yiesh is one of the best, my mom passed away after I visited her in the hospital and funds were low. Yiesh made sure I had emotional support along with a comfortable room and early check in. I recommend this place. I love the building across the street because it brings the 80s to the present. Trust me you may feel the same.
