We had a fantastic experience at the White Horse Tavern in New York! The atmosphere was warm, lively, and full of character. The food was delicious, with generous portions and great flavor, and the drinks were excellent as well. A special thank you to our server, Tina, who made our visit even better. She was friendly, attentive, and provided outstanding service from start to finish. Her recommendations were spot on, and she made us feel so welcome. If you’re looking for a great place to eat with amazing service in New York, I highly recommend the White Horse Tavern. We’ll definitely be back!
We searched for a place to eat in the area and this place looked pretty good. There was three of us and we all had something different. The food overall was really good. The service from start to finish was great. I would definitely recommend this place. Will eat here next time I am in the area
Food was excellent, atmosphere is fun , service was pretty poor. Out waiter was grumpy when we asked for changes to an item on the menu (dietary restrictions) and huffed to start a new page, brought the wrong beer, didn’t come back to our table once we ordered food (the bust boy brought us our food/ to go box etc) and took 20 minutes to bring the check. We had to ask the other servers 3 times to get the check. I will say they had a large birthday party but we watched our waiter take drink orders for people at the bar for 15 mins after we had asked twice. Would still recommend simply because the food was good. Hibiscus sour, brisket cheesesteak sandwich and the Reuben. Fries are also crispy and well seasoned.
Totally my new hangout for anytime I’m down by the battery or headed to Governors Island. Apart from a deli, it’s hard to find decent and affordable food down in the Battery area. The people were sweet as hell, the music was loud, the burgers were great, and the price was perfect for this part of Manhattan. What else could I ask for?
Very well surprised! In this Irish pub the food is very well prepared, the burgers are with real beef, heinz ketchup and even the pickles are not industrialized. The prices were also fair.
