I decided to take a trip to the Stumble Inn after work. The place was loud from the music and various conversations taking place. The staff was nice though it did take a while for entree to be served. The Second Avenue Stumbler was cooked well done as it contained cheese and mushrooms inside the beef patty. It was a little dry but it was filling. It was a good thing that I arrived at the restaurant in a famished state. The cider on draft was refreshing on hot day such as it was. Overall it's a nice place on the Upper East Side.
Went here for lunch with my 2 sisters. The table service was quick and friendly while remaining professional. The food was better than expected at a typical sports bar/ pub. I had the wings. They came out promptly and nicely seasoned and very crispy. They know how to pour a good Guinness pint, too. I forgot what my sisters had but know that they were happy with their order. I'll be back if I find myself in the neighborhood again. Their happy hour is great! Keep in mind that parking is at a premium. Difficult to find free parking. Lots of meters and paid parking lots/ garages
The four of us had a great time today watching March Madness. The place was packed, but we got some good wings, both boneless and classic. Nachos were nice. Beers and cocktails were good too. Blonde waitress with the blue eyes was really great. Would totally come back or even order delivery.
This bar is wonderful to make new friends at. The servers are very attentive and the drinks are reasonably priced and poured. Though its a little loud and chaotic, it is a wonderful location to just unwind and socialize.
The Stumble Inn is a classic neighborhood bar and one of our longtime NYC go-tos. We’ve been coming here for years and it’s always the same winning combo: great pub food, generous drinks, and an awesome staff that remembers faces and makes you feel welcome the second you walk in. The atmosphere is warm and lively without being overwhelming, perfect for catching a game or getting together with family and friends. It may be called an “Inn,” but there are no rooms upstairs—just plenty of reasons to keep coming back.
