If I could give Shy Shy more than five stars, I would. We hosted our wedding reception here, and from the moment we booked through the very last guest leaving, the experience was beyond anything we could have imagined. The restaurant itself is absolutely stunning, but what truly sets Shy Shy apart is its people. Every single guest commented on how incredible the food and drinks were. We even had several friends who work in the restaurant industry tell us that the level of service was some of the best they had ever experienced. Every detail was executed flawlessly, and the entire team made our guests feel genuinely cared for. A special thank you to the event director, who made the entire planning process feel effortless. Their organization, communication, and execution allowed us to be fully present on our wedding day without worrying about a single thing. Hosting our reception at Shy Shy was one of the best decisions we made. We feel incredibly lucky to have found this restaurant and this team. They didn't just host our celebration—they helped create one of the best days of our lives. We cannot recommend Shy Shy highly enough. Thank you for everything—you exceeded every expectation.
A really nice chill spot for a quick grab a drink type of hang out. The bartenders are really fast and I got my drinks within a couple minutes of ordering, made perfectly might I add. Superb location and great atmosphere.
My parents were visiting from out of town and not use to “hip bars” - so when they weren’t sure what cocktails to try and our server Elsa was patient and walked them through the menu. It was a younger crowd (we went during happy hour) but the staff made my parents feel like the were more the welcome and not out of place. Cocktails were amazing, food was top tier bar food… def coming back with friends. Not one server/bartender walked by without checking up on us even if they weren’t our server. Rare to get this service at a busy bar.
Nice spot for cocktails and bites! We took advantage of their happy hour, which is offered even on Saturdays. Our table loved the oysters and fries - both on the HH menu. The place was pretty packed so I recommend getting a reservation. It’s pricey, if you’re not used to city prices, but is similar in cost to other nice cocktail spots in the area.
I absolutely loved the food here. The fried stuffed olives are delicious as well as the mozza balls. I also tried the hummus, French onion labneh, and the grilled chicken skewers, they were amazing. My favorite dish was the roasted squash and whipped ricotta, it was the best!!! The Caesar and beet salad are very yummy too. I will definitely be coming back!!
