Hadn’t been to this den of dancing and liberation in YEARS but went back last weekend for what was supposed to be a The Blessed Madonna dj party. The Blessed Madonna had to cancel last minute but I was still down to check out the vibes and scene to see how much or little had changed since the last time I went to the club. Glad to say that not much that I can see has changed as far as HOY being the most inclusive, fun, free, lit up dance-floors in the city. There was a security guard that approached us as my friends and I were leaving and I guess she spotted me in my wheelchair and wanted to help show us to a different dance floor around the corner out back. Wherever that was reminded me of the magic of House of Yes because it was a totally different dj and vibe. All in all, the club is still alive.
I am a huge fan of House of Yes! I absolutely love the space, the creativity, the artistry, and the overall atmosphere. Every detail is thoughtfully designed, making each visit feel like a unique experience. The performers are extraordinary—talented, captivating, and incredibly inspiring. The level of artistry and professionalism is truly impressive. I’ve been there three times already, and each visit has been unforgettable. I am looking forward to coming back many more times and experiencing all the magic House of Yes has to offer. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a creative, immersive, and unforgettable night out in New York City!
A must do if you’re in NY and have some time on the weekend. If you’re into dancing to EDM music into the night, this place is for you. The bar itself is pretty small but the dance floor room is massive! The stage usually has dancers or performers and at some point in the night, it opens to guests and anyone can dance on stage for the rest of the night. The bathrooms are incredible. They are individual stalls and each one has a different theme. They do have coat check and also have another bar outside on the patio.
I'd highly recommend this amazing show and will be back to visit again! My husband and I were visiting NYC without kids for a long weekend and were incredibly pleased with this show! It is an impressive mix of burlesque, trapeze/sword swallowing circus style acts, along with some wonderful comedic and breathtaking drag performances. You can't forget the puppeteer, talented hosts and interactive additions as well! Prepare that body of yours if you're interested in the bathtub VIP seat! 💗 My absolute favorite part was the overall feeling of being free. Free to be you in every way. Plus one of the hosts shared a vulnerable story that really took that feeling to another level. To be carrying on the spirit of their grandmother by delighting audiences and making them smile just as she had, amazing. It really was an unforgettable experience!
House of Yes is one of the most unique nightlife experiences you can find. The atmosphere is electric from the moment you walk in — bright lights, themed decorations, and a crowd that’s fully committed to creativity and expression. The energy inside feels different from a typical club; people dress up, participate, and make the whole space feel like an interactive performance. Music was great, the sound system hit hard, and the performers added a lot to the overall vibe. The staff were organized and friendly, and even with a big crowd, everything felt safe and well managed. It’s the kind of place where you can fully relax into the moment and enjoy the freedom of the environment. If you’re looking for a nightlife spot that’s artistic, bold, and unforgettable, House of Yes definitely delivers.
