My stay at the William Vale exceeded my expectations, especially thanks to Isaac and Kim. They welcomed me to the property with such warmth and were very knowledgeable about the amenities and services available. They answered all questions with a smile and were personable and professional. They set a stellar example for what service should be like in the hospitality industry! Leuca, the restaurant on the property, was really good. I enjoyed my food and drinks, and the service was great as well. The Asian bartender I had was very kind and gave great recommendations. Multiple people checked on me throughout my time dining, so service was top notch across the board. My room was spacious, with gorgeous views of the city. I do wish the bathroom lighting was brighter, especially in the mirror. It’s hard to do your makeup. Walls are very thin so it does get noisy, even on higher floors. Think twice about booking if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, I would definitely come back and stay at this hotel - it was clean, service was great, location is safe and vibrant, and views were breathtaking.
The room is incredible, super clean, amazing balcony views, and most importantly very comfortable bed and pillows! However, valet per night is $50 and it wasn’t easy finding a street parking. There isn’t a breakfast buffet so finding early breakfast spots other than the restaurant in hotel was annoying. I only stayed for 4 nights and had the time to go to the gym 2 times, if I were to stay for longer, I would be annoyed about the gym as it barely has machines. I would go back for the room!!
Excellent, Wonderful, and Beautiful! I absolutely loved my stay at your hotel—it exceeded all of my expectations. The rooms are exceptional, offering breathtaking views of Manhattan. From the moment I arrived, I received an incredibly warm welcome from the reception team. Westlight is absolutely charming. I loved the rooftop atmosphere, as well as the delicious food and drinks. The pool was fantastic, and the ladies at the pool registration were so kind and welcoming. I especially want to recognize the outstanding guest service provided by Rickson at the front desk. Even though he was working the overnight shift, he always greeted guests with a genuine smile and was eager to help with anything we needed. He truly made me feel valued and made my stay even more memorable. Thank you, Rickson, for your exceptional hospitality. Keep up the amazing work—you are truly awesome! I can’t wait to come back.
My husband and I stayed there for 2 nights. There is only 4 elevators and 2 are for the rooftop which is extremely popular. You only have 2 elevators dedicated to the rest of the hotel for all 22 floors. All elevators are also used for service so it’s common you have to wait, they’re full and you have to wait for the next one. I’ve never been to a hotel that didn’t have a separate elevator for service so found this extremely strange- overall poorly architected. The pool is available for guests with a reservation but was extremely busy as it is also allowed for outside guests so is extremely crowded. I called before our stay and had to call numerous times for a reservation as every time I was connected with the pool, they were too busy and didn’t pick up or hung up. I was on the phone for 45 minutes until someone picked up and helped but I had to make a big deal with the hotel for that to happen. We were out of our room for most of the day both days and our room was not serviced once even though we had the light on. I called the front desk multiple times and they don’t pick up and send you to voicemail. Overall I would not recommend if you’re looking for a nice, relaxing accommodation. The rooms and view are nice but service, elevators and pool are not worth it.
