Fair value for the money, especially for a hotel located about 30 minutes from Manhattan (approximately a 15-minute walk to the subway and a 15-minute subway ride). We did experience a few issues. The most frustrating were the noise from both the street and neighbouring rooms, the smell of cannabis in the corridors, and the lack of a secure luggage storage option after check-out. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel offered reasonable value for the price.
Good for the money if you're a budget traveler. Room was adequate enough, not too dirty or shabby, bed was comfy, tv shelf was broken, closet is small enough for one person, bathroom was clean and had enough amenities (hot water, conditioner, hair dryer, soap, towels). Biggest problem I had was noise from rooms nextdoor or above. They were slamming things, talking loudly, and closing doors constantly. Front desk guy was alright, they looked like they aren't paid enough for this so I don't blame them lol. But the cleaner guy was great, everyday I came back to my hotel all clean and tidy up. The hotel is placed in a run down area with construction everywhere, there are other hotels around but the walk to the nearest subway entrance to manhantan wasnt the best and could feel unsafe at times. I had no trouble for the 5 days I was there but safe to be cautious. Overall the hotel was good for the money, had all the basics needed to rest up for a trip. Commute to manhantan only takes about 20 mins. Would visit again 👍
Decent hotel for the price. The room is comfortable if you’re just staying there to sleep. It’s small, but cozy and clean. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy but we felt fine walking back late at night. There are a lot of food and shopping options near the 21st & Queensbridge subway, which is a short walk from the hotel. Overall, I would stay again.
