The lobby is great spot to sit and get some work done on your laptop. It is usually pretty full during morning - noon, but I’ve always managed to find a seat since people tend to come and go throughout the day. It’s very quiet and peaceful, with soft music playing in the background at just the right volume. The drip coffee and pastries are genuinely delicious.
Very trendy spot! Rooms are a bit small and honestly you can hear people in the other rooms engaged in extracurricular physical anatomy activities. My therapist is helping me forget… the cafe is pretty cool too. Have fun!
My stay at the Hoxton is one of the nicest I’ve experienced. The staff was more than hospitable, and the room full of small touches that I will now miss at other hotels. Yes? The rooms are small, but the quality is impeccable. The square footage is used cleverly. Every fixture was real brass, the shower had excellent pressure and was hot, the lights were dimmable. There was complementary milk in the fridge for coffee in the morning in addition to an electric kettle instead of a plastic coffee maker. Room service was encouraged! (A ton of places don’t even offer it, or make it feel like a burden.) Text concierge services are common now, but the informal hospitality from the front desk was a perfect match for the concept. The rooms are filled with books to thumb through, as well as a Bluetooth speaker. I also really enjoyed being able to crack the window in the room. The location is surrounded by fun things to do: cute cafes, vintage stores galore, and very close to the L. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Brooklyn.
Was in town for a couple days and my wife & I really enjoyed our stay at the hoxton. We arrived 2 hours before check in but they still had a room ready for us. It was a little small but that’s pretty expected for a hotel in Brooklyn. The room was very clean though which is always a huge plus. The food at the hotel is fantastic. And it’s in a prime location in Williamsburg, very walkable to anything you need. We will definitely stay again if we’re in town.
