Reviews
This is a no frills hotel with very clean, modern rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful and the location is fantastic on a quieter street immediately behind Carnegie Hall. It's very quiet at night with little to no car horns and street noise. The location is great for walking to a theater show, Central Park, etc. and plenty of restaurants nearby. This served as our basecamp for a visit with our son and I highly recommend it if you don't need onsite amenities like restaurant, bar, etc.
Wonderful, clean, beautiful hotel! Parking garage is right next door where the hotel will give you a discount. The front desk woman, I believe her name was Leila, was absolutely amazing and kind. The room was clean, comfortable and high end. Easy walk to subway stations, close to times square or central park.
Just understand: rooms are STATE-OF-THE-ART efficient, comfortable, QUIET, clean, small "cubby" room (205 sq ft) WITH other GREAT perks for tourists. LOVED the EVER-HELPFUL staff: Delia, Jorje, Mayra, Vaniela, Pablo, Yolanda. In a flash, Delia printed out instructions to get where I needed to go each day. LOVED the in-room refrigerator DRAWER rolls right out to you, showing all the contents at a glance. LOVED the MODERN shower! VERY comfy bed! TV worked well. LOVED the wine, cheese, crackers, chips, and more openly available each evening before dinner. Free hot breakfast buffet is included with your room. LOVED the cleanliness & location! Only 2 drawbacks: Closet is tiny. 🙁NO fitness center. We would absolutely stay here again!
The Ultimate NYC Experience! Our stay in Manhattan was nothing short of a dream, and it’s all thanks to the mind-blowing team at this hotel! Seriously, these guys are absolute rockstars. The first impression was beyond impressive—the staff stood, smiled, and greeted us the second we arrived, making us feel like absolute royalty right off the bat, complete with a complimentary glass of wine and a gorgeous fruit, cheese, and nut platter. We were in town for a major high-profile event—which, as everyone knows, means Midtown is pure chaos—but the staff handled everything with the utmost professionalism and grace. The room was modern, incredibly quiet, and so comfortable, featuring well-appointed finishes and great attention to detail. With only 4-5 rooms per floor, it felt super boutique and exclusive, all while being in a prime Midtown location with several nearby subway stations. To the entire hotel staff: thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are truly elite, and we will absolutely be staying here again very soon! You guys are the absolute best!
I was in the city for one night and wanted to catch a show, while I was there. The Carnegie Hotel was perfectly situated so the walk back from the theater at night was short and felt safe. The front desk made check-in easy. They were friendly and helpful. They gave me dinner recommendations tailored to what I was craving, all within walkable distance. My room was bright, open and cozy with a gorgeous city view. I was immediately able to relax and breathe. I wokeup in the morning to a bright, orange sunrise, reflecting off the buildings around me. My bed was comfortable, and I didn't want to leave. Checkout was quick and friendly. I had a really lovely stay at The Carnegie Hotel. I would love to stay here again.
