HH member, stayed on a Monday - Thursday. Easy check in via app or at desk, arrived at 3 we kind of beat a crowd and got our room early. Lobby is on 11th floor. Super fast elevators were great after the initial 20 seconds to figure out how they worked. Clean modern room. Kind of small but that was expected, and for us didn't matter much since it's mainly to sleep and to shower. They clean the room and freshen towels every day (I thought most stopped doing that after covid) SO many things close by, subway right downstairs too. We even got some Citi e-bikes and head over to the west side down to battery park. Fun trip.
The stay at this hotel was an amazing experience. We had a room on the 38th floor and had beautiful view of both the heart of Times Square and the sunset/sunrise by the water. However, what was even better was the service this hotel provided. It was exceptional, the friendliness and professionalism. And these mannerisms were not forced, but were genuine. The only issue with the room was the TV. However, Ricardo, the IT guy at the hotel was very helpful in trying his best to remedy the situation. Also, a shoutout to Ceasar, Damion and Yassin for providing personal service. Would definitely go back to this hotel every time I'm in NYC.
Unbelievable. This was by far the worst Hilton experience I’ve ever had. The service is absolutely terrible. No one ever answers the phone at reception we called repeatedly over several days with no success. Every single time we needed something, we had to go downstairs to the front desk ourselves. The front desk staff (with the exception of the elevator attendants, who were genuinely kind and welcoming) were consistently unfriendly, dismissive, and acted as though helping guests was an inconvenience. The room itself was a huge disappointment. The electrical outlets couldn’t even handle a standard hairdryer ( PROVIDED BY HILTON) without tripping the circuit breaker, which is unacceptable for a modern hotel. On top of that, every night there were constant loud clicking and knocking noises coming from the HVAC system or the building’s plumbing ( GOD KNOWS) that made it nearly impossible to get a proper night’s sleep. We also paid extra for a king room with a Times Square view. What a joke. The “view” was practically nonexistent, and the room was so tiny it felt smaller than a shoebox. It was absolutely not worth the premium price. As a Hilton Honors member, I expected much better. Instead, this was the most disappointing Hilton I’ve ever stayed at. Poor customer service, poor room quality, and poor value for money. I would never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
I recently toured a couple of rooms at Tempo by Hilton Times Square and was really impressed by the location and design. The biggest highlight is definitely the views. Some rooms have amazing views overlooking Times Square, which feels especially magical at night with all the lights. The bathrooms were also beautiful, clean, modern, all white, and with great lighting that made the whole space feel bright and upscale. You really can’t beat the location either. It’s right in Times Square and next to major subway lines, making it incredibly convenient for exploring Manhattan.
Amazing hotel. I stayed here for my 18th birthday, and the staff were all lovely. When I returned to the hotel from Hamilton on my birthday, there was a box of macarons and strawberries sitting in the room, which was such a nice suprise! The guy that checked us in also gave us free hotel breakfast and supper everyday, which was great of him. The beds were super comfy, and the blackout blinds were very helpful given that we were on the edge of Times Square, and it was very bright 24/7. The only other thing I'd mention was the neighbours were very noisy, even past 10pm. Dropping things, talking loudly, TV blasting. Other than that, our stay was fantastic! (Birthday decorations not included).
