Great place to stay when visiting the Big Apple! The location is right next to Times Square & Broadway. When walking in you can tell the building has a great history. The lobby and our room on the 14Th floor feels elegant and posh. This hotel is a 4 Star according to their advertising. The check-in was easy and painless. We were given 2 complimentary bottles of water. We parked our rental right next door. The Royalton is a Clean & modern hotel in Midtown.
Very beautiful, stayed for two nights and it was fantastic, a very modern look. Had water bottles available whenever you needed. My only issue is our fridge in the room did not work and when we called for assistance they said they’d send someone but no one ever came. Other than that I have no complaints. Close to a lot and in a good area
As some other reviews have said, this hotel is in desperate need for renovation. Friendly staff and very nice lobby, but the rest is quite old. Our room’s thermostat did not work, leaving the room stuck at 77 degrees… too hot to sleep comfortably! The bathroom was pretty cool, but the room itself felt like a cruise ship and seemed dirty. We also had the amazing view of a dirty fire escape and entirely enclosed brick wall three feet from the window. 10am felt like 3am with the amount of natural light we got.
We read reviews and were uneasy about staying. We were welcomed by Maria. She was super friendly, nice and got us checked in quickly. She also offered us 2 bottles of water for the riom. The room was clean, spacious and modern. It was the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in. The room was basic w a small view of NYC as we had asked for. Greatful we didn't miss out on this Hotel had we based our decision on reviews! Thank you , Royalton and staff for an AMAZING STAY!!!
We stayed at this hotel in June 2025. We arrived late and the receptionist was very helpful helping us order food to be delivered. However, we were very disappointed that there were no vending machines for waters, snacks, or anything. There was no bar or restaurant. This place has so much potential because of location, location, location. Also, it's very cute in the lobby. The pandemic is over and they need to open up services. Also, unfortunately, the room was rather creepy. I got the feeling that it hadn't been deep cleaned in years. The bathroom was beautiful with a great big tub. I would have preferred a separate walk in shower. Although the location was wonderful, we will not be returning. I'm also disappointed that American Airlines had this as an option for a hotel. They need to visit places before recommending them to their patrons.
