Reviews
I am in love with this hotel. The rooms are clean, bright, and modern. The shower is excellent. The air conditioning is the best in any hotel I've stayed at. They even pump a delicate aromatic smell into the room that smells heavenly. They really know how to create a spa experience with their rooms. The room I stayed in was a one-person room, so it was literally just a bed, sink, and bathroom. But I would take that over any big hotel room that wasn't at this high quality. I didn't mind the size at all. It was just delightful. The bed was so comfortable and the bedding was so soft. The wifi is excellent, wonderful views, and the staff is so extremely nice and helpful. Like spa staff. And it's literally across the street from a beautiful, serene park. The neighborhood is amazing and beautiful as well. And the best restaurants are all within short walking distance. This will be the only hotel I stay in when I'm in Manhattan. 5 thousand stars.
This is my go-to hotel in NYC. The rooms are a bit small, but hey, it’s NYC. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. Quiet location but has easy access to the subway and is a short, safe walk to lots of restaurants and everything the West Side has to offer. It’s right next to Riverside park which is great for walking. The River view rooms have a marvelous sunset views over the Hudson. Price can’t be beat for a clean room with a good location in NYC!
Rooms are as advertised: good bed, very clean, plenty of towels. But, just be prepared, tiny even for NYC standards. Website photos of room are wide angle lens 'accurate.' You'll still walk into room and say ' wow this is small' Wifi / chromecast TV was spotty in room. But this is a hotel for carry on only travelers to sleep in and get out into the city. Location is great. Riverside Drive is safe, quiet, endless UWS food options.
TLDR: Great staff and location but very small room My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The staff was extremely kind and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. The location is another big plus: it’s close to the metro and right next to a park, which was perfect for morning walks. The only downside was the room size. We intentionally chose the smallest option and expected it to be compact, but it turned out to be smaller than anticipated, which made the stay a bit less comfortable. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend this hotel, just consider booking a larger room for a more comfortable stay
This hotel is seriously underrated. It’s only two blocks from the train station and steps from the river—super convenient. Very clean and affordable, with the best part being how quiet it is at night, so you can actually sleep well. Most rooms are quite small (not ideal for larger guests), but they’re updated and have decent water pressure. Overall, a great value for the price
