Reviews
We stayed for 7 nights in a premium twin bedroom. All the staff was amazing kind and helpful. Many thanks to the room cleaners that cleaned every day and put fresh towels. The location is safe and also just few blocks away from sightseeings. Lots of fast food and restaurants, too. The thing that I have to mention is that room maintenance is zero. Bathroom mold, broken tiles plus no amenities at all. We were wondering what if we had arived late at night there was no even a complimentary bottle of water. No refrigerator, no coffee or tea maker. First time being in such a hotel. Accommodation is experience too. Especially when is well paid too.
Overall pleasant experience at this hotel. All the staff were friendly and cooperative. Comfortable beds with multiple lamps within room; personally I prefer a more well-lit room. The rooms were in pretty high demand, so it is recommended to book ahead of time. The first room we were given had a scent of mildew in the bathroom. We changed rooms the next day and there was no problem with our new room. It is in pretty close proximity to central park and many other nice tourist attractions such as Time Square and the Empire State Building. Also there is a kind man at the entrance of the hotel who can help you call a taxi whenever you need one!
We got the room with 2 queen beds. It has space for the beds and not much else. Bathroom is nice. We got continental breakfast included (1 coffee, 1 pastry, 1 whole fruit), not the best but manageable. People cleaning the rooms are very nice and helpful. People in the front desks and breakfast service seem to be set on proving the rude new yorker stereotype. The location however, is hard to beat. All in all, if you want to be in a central location for tourism it is a very good place to be.
I know everyone has their own experiences and expectations, but we had no issues with this lovely hotel. The location is fantastic, the woman who checked us in was super friendly, and our room was a chilly 68 degrees our entire stay when NYC was 95F. We promptly received our owed deposit and thus far no bogus smoking charge. I think the longest wait we had for an elevator was 30 seconds, tops, and we always had hot water. Our room was clean and updated, and the noise level was not an issue. We will definitely stay again when we are back in NY later this month and will recommend to others.
The location of the hotel is amazing, and the employees were friendly and helpful. There is a bar with live music past the lobby, and 2 new express elevators. When coming back down to the lobby I noticed I had to wait 1-3 minutes. The rooms are a little bit older, but they are definitely sufficient! Note that they run on a old AC system so they only have cool in the summer and only heating in the winter. Housekeeping came daily and was great. There is also an ice machine on each floor and a fitness center as well.
