Work had booked us at a bad hotel and we had to book this hotel last minute, and I’m SO grateful that they had availability and accommodations for us. Our late night check in staff (I wish I remembered his name) was absolutely amazing. Great staff all around, excellent rooms for NY standards. Will definitely come back. Keep up the good work, other IHG properties in NYC should look to this hotel as a standard to strive for

I stayed here for 10 nights in a suite—the most expensive room type—at a cost of around $7,000. For that hefty amount of money, it was not worth it at all and should not be a 5 star hotel. Even though the room was spacious and the bed was clean, the rest of the space felt very worn, old, and unhygienic. This is especially true compared to the hotel I am staying at right now, which is $2,000 cheaper. Our room had dirty curtains and an in-room tablet that never worked. Furthermore, despite requesting a room on a higher floor, we never received one; we were told to check back every day, but it never became available. On a positive note, the service was excellent and top-notch.

My wife and I spent four nights at The Kimpton Eventi over Memorial Day weekend, and we had an absolutely great time. If you want a cool boutique vibe instead of a boring Marriott, definitely stay here. The room was clean and modern, and it was actually made up every single day. The bed and bedding were incredibly comfortable, too. Everyone working there was super friendly. I really want to give a massive shoutout to Jennifer at the front desk—she was so kind and even surprised us with a room upgrade when we arrived! They also let us check in early and check out late, which made our trip so much easier. Another cool perk was being able to just shoot a text to the front desk for whatever we needed. They even text you updates about what's happening around the property, which was super convenient. The complimentary wine hour every day was an awesome touch, and the restaurant and bar downstairs are genuinely good if you don't feel like leaving the hotel. Highly recommend this place for a trip to NYC!

The hotel has many positive aspects, but there is still room for improvement in certain areas to enhance the overall guest experience. Attention to detail, and some facility upgrades could make the stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. The reception experience process were not very smooth or welcoming, which affected the first impression. With better organization and customer service, the experience could be much better. Especially since my husband is a diamond IHG member , Yet still didn’t make a big difference. The view of our room was the noisy street , Which was a terrible experience. The breakfast, They give you a coupon, It was helarious If you choose continental it was a banana and one croissant….. I’ve never seen such a continental breakfast anywhere 😫

This is a beautiful place to say. My first time in NY and it’s met all my expectations and exceeded them. Marylin at the front desk needs a raise. She made sure our stay was more comfortable than necessary. Also the man in the coffee bar was so interesting to talk with, very helpful and kind. I couldn’t give the staff the accolades they deserve for running this tight ship. We are both grateful you guys took such good care of us.
