Hotel Hugo has a fabulous location. You can walk to the Hudson River, high line , Chelsea piers and the quaint West Village, SoHo And tribeca area. Also has a wonderful rooftop bar area and Felix Roastery restaurant for breakfast. What is it lacking ? - 4 star service and attention - room turnover by housekeeping is poor(- missed a day and left empty bottles - no concierge - front desk said they were going to call Us with transportation information to LaGuardia airport and never did - front desk was supposed to give us 2 free drink coupons and never passed information - no food room service after midnight - phone and TV is horrible - shower head water pressure could be better This hotel has potential but it certainly needs to tweak some things

I can’t say enough great things about this hotel. From the service and decor to the quality of the rooms, everything was exceptional. I was visiting from Charlotte, North Carolina, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while in NYC. A huge thank you to the entire team at Hotel Hugo for making my New York experience one to remember. I will absolutely be returning!

I really enjoyed my stay here mainly because it of the location and breakfast was really good. I’ve stayed in other hotels around this area and this is by far one of my favorites. It’s not on a central road, there is no traffic noise at night. We didn’t hear any noise from other rooms or hallways. Staff is very nice as well and rooms are clean. I only had breakfast there and it was good. Will definitely stay here again

Been here for my honeymoon, the front desk people were not as welcome as you would expect for paying for a from with view to the Hudson River while getting a room with a incredible view of the UPS storehouse in front of the hotel. The rooftop was closed, though no mention of this in booking. The housekeeping spent 3 days without doing our room or they offered to do it after 18 pm while the room was left earlier than 10 am Check in was later than reasonable and safety deposit was 500 usd for 5 night stay. I will not recommend the hotel nor go. Back ever

This is a cute little hotel! The staff were absolutely amazing! The room was nice, nothing overly impressive, but comfortable and seemed clean. The rooftop wasn't open during our stay, but the coffee shop on site filled in nicely for happy hour. Perfect location if in town for attending ABC tv show tapings. It was a very short walk to the studio! The staff were all very pleasant, professional, and accommodating!!! I'd stay here again!
