I agree with others that the 5-star reviews must be paid for. First, we checked in at 7pm on a Friday night. The room was booked ~1 hour before arrival when our flight was canceled at JFK. The room had just been cleaned with the floors still completely wet from mopping when we arrived. The smell of the cleanser was terrible and we could not open the window to clear the scent. I used a towel with my feet to dry the floor, which was filthy after, so they must have used dirty water to mop. Bedding was clean. Found a few rogue hairs in the bathroom, including on the wall. I wiped everything down so my son wouldn't see them and freak out. There as no trash can in the room, which was odd, and no bedside tables or shelf to hold your belongings. The walls in the room need a good wipe down. Add to it, heavy bass and a loud dj woke us up un the middle of the night and persisted for a few hours. We were located on the 4th floor. And yes, you can hear the elevated train outside, but that didn't bother us. About the area - it is not a nice part of Brooklyn by any means. Outside of the hotel the sidewalks were littered with trash and rats were active. People were partying at all hours. I didn't feel safe taking my son to dinner after our arrival, so we snacked in our room and went to bed early. Even in the morning when we went a block over for breakfast, the area was super sketch. It's clear by a few of the cafes nearby that there is some effort to clean up, but for now, it's quite dirty and feels very unsafe. I would not recommend this hotel, especially for people travelingwith children.

Every employee I ran into seemed genuinely friendly and welcoming and I had an overall lovely stay. A couple of the towels in the room were a little dirty but it was only me in the room so I just used the others. I know not all hotels offer it but I was a little annoyed at not having conditioner in the room. I didn't mind this personally but if one doesn't like a lot of noise try not to stay on one of the lower floors because there is a bar/club attached to the hotel that plays music from about 7pm-2am on weekends and it can be heard on the 2nd floor. Location is great! Bus stop pretty much right in front of the property and a 4 minute walk from Kosciuszko station and plenty of food and nightlife (bars and clubs) options within walking distance and very lively. Price was good for what it was. Outside area was nice to chill in during the day. Looking forward to staying here again sometime. Thanks!

From the moment we arrived, the manager Ruhul went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He was incredibly kind, accommodating and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great stay. He even allowed us to check in early, which was a massive help after traveling. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a great vibe. But what really stood out was the exceptional customer service. It’s rare to come across someone who takes such pride in making their guests feel valued. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a place with excellent hospitality. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the area! You’re the best Ruhul!

A Wonderful Stay — Truly Amazing! My family and kids had a wonderful stay at Hotel 1080. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout our visit. We especially enjoyed the complimentary coffee and tea — they were excellent and a nice touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. I would like to give special recognition to the Manager, Mr. Ruhul. He has an outstanding personality and truly leads by example. We were impressed to see him helping in every area of the hotel — wiping tables, assisting housekeeping with luggage, and supporting the front desk whenever needed. It is rare to see such dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for guests these days. His positive attitude and willingness to help made a lasting impression on our family. In fact, we found ourselves talking about him throughout our stay. Everything was perfect from start to finish. We highly recommend Hotel 1080 and look forward to staying here again in the future!

I would definitely recommend Hotel 1080 to anyone coming into the city. The rooms were decent they were cleaned everyday once we left. The service and staff was a 10/10 very kind and accommodating. This is a perfect location really close to the trains and bus I enjoyed all the different restaurants, cafes and bars in the neighborhood. There is also a grocery store not to far like 15 min walking distance. I really appreciate Ruhul & Laron’s attentiveness and care. I see the entire staff really puts in effort into creating a welcome environment for guest.
