Reviews
The room was tidy and well maintained. The size was reasonable, though not quite worth the price, which feels a bit high for the area. The hotel staff were friendly and quick to assist whenever needed. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Times Square. The room came equipped with a microwave, mini‑fridge, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, and a safe. The bed was firm and comfortable. There’s no complimentary breakfast, even at the rate charged. Overall, it’s a convenient base for exploring New York City.
I planned a trip for my daughter and I to New York and chose the Hilton Garden Inn via Internet. Upon the initial check-in, I was worried that this wasn’t the hotel for us due to the rooms being smaller than I had anticipated. However, we navigated through this trip with the coziness of the room, the hospitality of the staff was amazing my daughter and I had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Times Square. Hugs and kisses to Michelle and Maria for making our stay simply amazing. This was such a memorable trip for my daughter and meant so much to her. The staff was absolutely wonderful. I recommend this as a top rated hotel if you’re staying in New York. .
Michelle at the front desk was the best part of my stay!!! I got to the hotel very early, and she was so helpful and welcoming right away. Later, when I came back to check in, she went out of her way to find me a high-floor room overlooking Times Square, which I appreciated a lot. She did not have to do that, but it made the stay feel really special!! Every time I interacted with her, she was kind, professional, and genuinely nice. I also noticed she was just as great with other guests, which says a lot. The hotel itself was also really impressive. The location is surprisingly not super loud/busy, especially if you want to be near Times Square, and the room was comfortable, clean, and had a great view. I actually regret only booking one night! I would definitely stay here again on future NYC trips. As for Michelle, give this woman her raise, bonus, and promotion!!!!!!
One of my best ever check in experiences ever. I booked through a third-party but Maria at the desk was friendly and accommodating. There was an issue with the reservation (not their fault) and they had to do some additional stuff. While I waiting both Maria and her manager offered me a drink coupon to wait at the bar. I didn't need it and it was resolved quickly. I still got the drink and appatizer coupon. They made me feel like a VIP guest and considering it in a very busy tourist area, to maintain that level of service at the end of the day is remarkable. Gustavo at the bar makes a great Manhattan and the food was delicious. And the room was fine. Every Midtown hotel room is on the small side. My room and bathroom were spacious for a Midtown hotel. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel because the staff was fantastic from the moment they checked you in to the moment you leave. Staff such as Michelle and Frank were not only polite but friendly, and would go out of their way to help meet your requests or assist in your asks. The hotel's location was fantastic, within minutes' walk of several metro stations, and is of course, within walking distance to Times Square. The only improvement i'd suggest is for the hot water to be heated more quickly. In the interim, just turn the showerhead on for a few minutes before take your bath. Kudos to the team at Hilton Garden Inn Times Square Central!
