Service here was unmatched. Our server, Seth, was amazingly attentive. Not just to Genie and I, but to all the other diners who came in. He was sharp, knowledgeable, and very courteous. The food was good and delicious. The truffle eggs Benedict had great flavor.
Beautiful hotel with excellent amenities. The hotel is located in a quiet part of the city, which provides a nice sense of privacy, though it does take a bit more time and effort to get to the more active parts of the city. There isn’t much within walking distance, but we didn’t mind that. My only complaint during our stay was the room temperature. While it was over 100°F outside and the common areas of the hotel were kept comfortably cool, our room remained between 71–73°F despite repeatedly setting the thermostat to the mid-60s. After spending all day in the extreme heat, it was disappointing to return to a warm room and be unable to get a restful night’s sleep because the temperature never cooled down. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected to have more control over the room temperature.
I haven’t had the opportunity to stay at the hotel yet, but I have always had a great experience at the bars & restaurants. I definitely recommend going to the main brassiere and having a drink with Russ, their head bartender. He has a couple fantastic cocktails on the menu I tried, and he went above and beyond with anticipating our food and beverage needs. Great spot with excellent service.
We were lucky enough to stay here for a game 5 of the Knicks - KNICKS IN 5!!!!! The hotel did an amazing job with the viewing party making sure everyone had drinks food etc… The hotel itself is really in the best neighborhood- the restaurants are AMAZING!!!! The chicken palliaird is one of the best dishes in the city and we eat out a lot! We live in hoboken so this was a staycation and we absolutely loved every single minute of it. Special shout out to Bianca and Emerson they were both very memorable to us. Bianca helped us with an issue we were dealing with and turned it around immediately. We absolutely love that you could take the dog everywhere and the dog friendly environment. The speak easy was amazing! They even had parking outside for me!! And covered my car with cones. Ughhh loved it We loved everything about this place and we travel a lot… hats off to Louie and his staff. John Jeannette and Zoe!! 🐾
Very disappointed by the experience. I had been once during the opening and loved it, so I came back and booked dinner for 6 people. We arrived early and first went to the speakeasy bar, but the host was so unpleasant that we decided to move to the patio bar instead. Cocktails were great and the bartender was lovely. Dinner itself was fine until the check. I asked for the bill to be split by 5, and instead I was charged the entire amount on my card — an $800+ mistake. When I asked for the manager, there were no apologies, no empathy, just a very condescending attitude and a simple “it will be fixed.” No gesture from the restaurant, and I’m still waiting for the banking hold to be released. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.
