Almost new at this time. Nice staff. Spotlessly clean lobby and room. Despite the 22% city tax on room and even on the $55 parking fee, this hotel is very budget friendly for being in a very very expensive city. The room is small for a normal hotel but large for NYC. Same with the double bed, which was OK comfortable. Nice new sheets! The bathroom is very nice and new although the NYC plumbers installed the faucet backwards 😂. AC system was excellent too. Be aware that the price for the wonderful hotel is low because it is next to the power station and junkyard area. Noisy day and night. Bring ear plugs and you’ll be fine.
My stay here was amazing! When we arrived, we were prepared to leave our luggage, go explore and come back to check-in at 3 p.m. However, they gave us complimentary super early check-in. Mohammed was the one helping us, and he was super nice, professional, and accommodating. He even gave us cookies upon check-in! I cannot say enough great things about this place. Our room was clean — a little small, but perfect for two people — and had everything we needed. The location was great as well: we were 11 minutes from the train, 20 minutes from LaGuardia Airport, and the nearby corner stores were a nice perk. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend it!
The people and the service were exceptional. The room was nice, although cramped. It would be nice to have a refrigerator in the room. The coffee was delicious, and the bar area was a great place to hang out and eat our dinner while watching a game. My only real complaint is the window between the bedroom and the bathroom. Although it was opaques, you can still see through it a bit. Why do hotels do this? And it's worth repeating that the service was exceptional. 100%.
Stayed here for 2weeks during my work trip and it was a great experience. Hotel room and lobby were clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Both the managers, Mohammad and Dacks were super accommodating during my stay. I appreciate them going above and beyond to extend my stay! There location is ideal into the city. 10min walk from the train. The community members were nice and local restaurants were some of my fav to try. I would definitely recommend for a clean, location friendly, and affordable stay in NYC.
