Had such a good stay here. They were really welcoming and friendly. Felt comfortable immediately. Everything was clean, and the free pantry area was a great bonus with coffee, tea, milk, takeaway cups(!), chilled water, and lots of snack options etc. Would def stay again
My first visit was back in March and the check-in went smoothly. 🧳 Saul was highly professional and courteous from beginning to end. Saul, thank you greatly for your hospitality and warm welcome! 🙏🏾 As for the room, it boasts top-notch cleanliness, including the bedding. The only drawback, for me, is the open ceiling, which I believe is a feature in most of the rooms. So you are guaranteed to hear the commotion (and coughing, lol) of guests nearby. Foam earplugs are provided, though. Aside from that, it's a great location bordered between Lower East Side and Chinatown. Coffee, tea and snacks are also available, and the shared bathrooms are well maintained. 🙂
First desk staff is extremely polite and helpful. The room itself, however, has an open ceiling so you can literally hear every single thing a person is doing including washing their hands a couple doors down. Also saw a gigantic cockroach on the floors outside the rooms, however, the rooms themselves albeit small are very clean.
I loved this place, because the service is really great and friendly. I had a broken foot and they carried my luggage up and down the stairs. They were always so nice and up for a chat. I do not understand why people write bad reviews when they seemingly did not check the offering beforehand. Its all clear: open ceilings, shared bathrooms. Bathrooms were clean during my stay (cleaned every day). Bathrooms are a bit sparse, there were times when i had to wait around 20 min. It depends on other guests how quiet it is. Had one night were a guest was a bit to loud next to me. Room was very clean and bed comfortable. Everything is quite modern and cozy. Location is great. I regard this as a premium hostel and they absolutely deliver. Had a great stay and would come again.
