We booked this hotel for the busy 4th of July weekend thinking we should have access to the pool. While we had access to the pool, the hotel sold resort day passes on this busy weekend and we didn't have a place to sit or had the chance to get into the very packed pool. It was over 100 degrees that weekend so I understand the demand to cool off at a pool for the day goers but the hotel should prioritize overnight guests paying $600/night + additional fees for amenities that we didn't get to use. The room was small but the balcony was a great addition. AC was pumping nice and cold during the entire stay in the 100+ degree weather. That was the only positive.

We booked a $300 cabana expecting decent service, but left disappointed. Even though the rooftop wasn’t busy, service was extremely slow. The poolside food was surprisingly bad (premade), especially the Caesar wrap, and way overpriced. The manager acknowledged our complaint, but the wrap was never removed from our bill. To top it off, we were charged before receiving an itemized receipt. Great rooftop, but the service and food don’t match the price. PS. The lifeguard was visibly asleep.

Had a great experience at Arlo Williamsburg and wanted to give a shoutout to Leo and Mohammed. Both were welcoming, attentive, and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. Leo did a great job running the restaurant and making sure guests were taken care of. Mohammed was friendly, helpful, and always had a positive attitude. Their hospitality really stood out and made the experience that much better. It’s not every day you come across service like that. Thanks again to Leo and Mohammed—I’ll definitely be back.

We held our wedding at Arlo Williamsburg with about 140 guests, and the venue itself is genuinely incredible. The ballroom is large and stunning, and the Mirror Bar is remarkably versatile; we used it for our rehearsal dinner, welcome event, the groom's getting-ready suite, pre-ceremony photos, staging during the reception, and our after party. We stayed in one of the suites, which doubled as a getting-ready space and comfortably held more than ten people at once, which is no small feat by NYC standards. We did our first look in the water tower, which has incredible views of lower Manhattan, and the neighborhood and location are hard to beat, with plenty for guests to do nearby. A huge part of what made our experience so special was working with Marcus and Kiley, who have been fantastic additions to the hotel. From the time we booked to our wedding day, we noticed so many positive changes at Arlo under their leadership, and it's clear they bring real depth of hospitality experience to the team. Both were responsive, thoughtful, and a genuine pleasure to work with at every step. Menu planning was collaborative; we shared feedback and they were receptive and executed beautifully on the day, thoughtful even about how each course was served so timing was efficient and our dance time was maximized. We opted for family-style service, which made the night run so much more smoothly in terms of getting food out to guests. The food itself was excellent and drew compliments throughout; we served the NY strip and the striped bass, with a rigatoni vegan option. With so many events across the weekend, their coordination stood out: they were patient, open to our ideas, and quick to offer smart solutions whenever a planning wrinkle came up, including all the cultural elements we wanted to incorporate. The broader staff, from bartenders to waiters and runners to bathroom attendants, were attentive and professional throughout. The whole team made our weekend seamless, and we’d happily recommend Arlo Williamsburg to other couples.
